  • How does the Heart-Healthy Booklet differ or add value to the materials and web resources my hospital already has in place?
    • The Booklet works best when it is integrated with your overall marketing strategy. Most clients who use it will tell you that over the years it has become one of the cornerstones of their cardiovascular marketing program. It appeals to physicians and consumers alike. The material is reviewed each year for its relevance and updated accordingly. Even the menus come with a philosophy behind them and change each year. The pictures are beautiful and meant to engage the reader with the "I can do that" philosophy. This versatile tool has broad applications: it is often cross-promoted in other publications and on the hospital's website as well as used for patients and their families, and is known for being a "keeper" booklet that people collect and save.
  • Do you have creative resources I can tap for development of my custom pages?
    • Yes we do. Some of our clients provide rough copy, and then we can incorporate it in the same voice as the Booklet is written. We provide cost-effective graphic production as well.
  • What are some things I can do with my custom pages?
    • HMS is glad to provide each client with examples of successful pages. Some examples include: highlighting physicians in an "Ask the Doctor" format; medical definitions; women and heart disease; warning signs cross selling services such as nutrition, vascular, diabetes, sleep lab, heart attack ER, and stroke center; community involvement by publishing screening schedules and other events; facilities; and regional networks.
